Celebrate Piping Plover Day at an Endangered Lakefront Sanctuary!

The South Shore Nature Sanctuary is a beautiful haven on the south lakefront … that may be converted to a golf course soon. Come on out, visit the Nature Sanctuary, see some birds, and show your support for nature on Chicago’s lakefront. Plover monitors particularly welcome.

Be prepared to walk on sand as the path is being reconstructed.
