Bird Walk at Bartel Grassland

On this trip we will explore Bartel Grassland looking for returning prairie breeding species such as Bobolink, Eastern Meadowlark, and several species of sparrows. Late April has also been a great time to find Smith's Longspur at this location, and this species will be a big target on this trip. The uneven terrain we will be walking on is often very wet/muddy, so a good pair of rain boots is a must!
