Hello everyone,
It was a slow winter day and we did not reach our goal of having more bird species than birders, with only 15 species spotted. Finding highlights to report is a bit tough but we enjoyed seeing a Red-tailed Hawk and an American Kestrel. There were lots of Canada Geese out and about but only one Common Goldeneye was in the marina, along with some Mallards for company. The most bird activity took place in a dead tree near the music bridge, with various birds exploring holes along the main trunk – see Marisa’s nice photos.
