Identifying Birds

It’s not all about color and size - Improve your bird identification skills by learning several ways to observe and differentiate the birds you see.

This Zoom presentation by experienced birder and CAS board member Roberta Asher will guide you through several steps you can take to narrow the field of possibilities in the process of identifying a bird.

Learn about silhouettes, foraging strategies, other behaviors, and habitat.

We will also talk about songs which play a very helpful and important role in identification and enjoyment of these wonderful creatures.
