Lindsay is passionate about habitat conservation and its intersection with people and communities. At the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, she directed grant funding to projects related to at-risk wildlife and community-based stewardship. She found her spark bird, a black-necked stilt, in coastal Georgia.
Lindsay earned a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, where her master’s project examined impediments to prescribed fire implementation on private lands in the southeastern US. She has served as a Bird Conservation Network monitor since 2020 and volunteers for the forest preserve districts of DuPage and Cook counties.
