Lindsay joined the CBA Board in 2022. After serving four years as Field Trip Chair, she was elected as the CBA Vice President in July 2026. Lindsay's passion is advancing habitat conservation and its connection to people and communities. During nearly a decade working in Washington, DC, she directed grant funding to projects supporting at-risk wildlife and community-based stewardship. Along the way she found her spark bird, a black-necked stilt, in coastal Georgia.
Lindsay earned a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, where her master’s project explored barriers to prescribed fire implementation on private lands in the southeastern US. She has served as a Bird Conservation Network monitor since 2020, previously served as Director on the board of the DuPage Birding Club, and also volunteers with the Forest Preserve Districts of DuPage and Cook Counties.
