The Rat Contraceptive Pilot Program was made possible by a Communications Team of passionate residents from Lincoln Park that have collaborated with Chicago’s Department of Streets & Sanitation, the office of Alderman Timmy Knudsen of Chicago’s 43rd Ward, WISDOM Good Works, Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago Bird Alliance, and the generous support of many donors who helped with the funding of the pilot program.
Below is a list of the community members, scientists, and volunteers who have all come together to find an alternative solution to handling the rat population to protect birds of prey and other wildlife in memory of the Lincoln Park owl family.
