Phase 2: June 2026-Present

In the second phase of the project, we are aiming to measure the efficacy of a different rat contraceptive project in another area of the city. This will be conducted by comparing rat activity on blocks containing the contraceptive feeding stations and on blocks without feeding stations.

We will use specialized cameras to monitor rats over several months. We will also collect data on consumption and use track plates periodically, all to give us data about rat activity and population sizes.

Phase 1: August 2025-April 2026

The focus of the pilot program was to measure the efficacy of Wisdom GoodBites’ contraceptive pellets in an urban environment. This was conducted by comparing rat activity on blocks containing GoodBites feeding stations and on blocks without feeding stations.
