Join CAS for a morning bird walk at Steelworkers Park in south Chicago!
Previously part of the US Steel Complex known as South Works, Steelworkers Park was recently transformed into an attractive landscape with natural areas, trees, walking paths and exquisite views of Lake Michigan. It is also considered an “under-birded” area.
On this walk we can expect to see early migrants, potentially including robins, blackbirds, geese and waterfowl.
