Hello everyone,
As Eric says, this week’s walk turned into Robin Appreciation Day. Robins were all over the place and it gave us an opportunity to pay attention to our common but beautiful residents. Other than the robins, it was pretty quiet, bird-wise.
However, we always mange to find something interesting and today was no exception. We found four beautiful Eastern Bluebirds and four Cedar Waxwings, both at the north end of the soccer field. They were a very nice surprise.
A Northern Cardinal was singing, not calling, so that means that Spring is on the way and we’ll have more birds with us soon.
