Join Chicago Audubon Society, Chicago Park District, Washington Park Stewardship, Access Living of Metro Chicago, and CJ Greco for a bird walk in Washington Park!
This outing is designed to be intentionally inclusive and accessible for both beginner and advanced birders who experience accessibility challenges as a result of a disability or other health concern.
We will stick to walking on paved and semi-flat surfaces. There is ample free street parking on both Morgan Dr and Best Dr. We will meet at the Fountain of Time and end our outing in the same place. We will bird along the trail for approximately 1.5 miles. Please note there are no public access restrooms on-site. Anyone is welcome, and beginner birders, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, and individuals with a disability are particularly encouraged to register.
Registration is limited to 15 participants, with up to five additional attendants if you need to bring someone to help you participate. If you would like to, please list any access needs you may have when registering so we can make sure you have the best experience possible at least three days before the event.
Please note that use of masks is optional. Hope to see you there!
Meeting location: north of Fountain of Time, see maps on registration page.
