Birding 101 (In person presentation)

  • Portage-Cragin Branch, Chicago Public Library (map)

Description

Are you just getting into birding and trying to figure out where to go, when to go, what to bring, and how to identify the birds you see? Then this is for you! We cover many topics, including field guides, phone apps, weather patterns, bird identification, and birding terminology. Think of this as a quick start guide to all things birding. If you are interested in birding, or know someone who is, come join us. This program is presented by Matt Igleski, Executive Director, Chicago Bird Alliance.

For all ages 10 and up.
