This is part of a series of bird outings we will be leading at lesser birded sites within the Forest Preserves of Cook County during each season.
Sauk Trail Woods has a paved trail loop on the Thorn Creek Trail System shaded by giant oak trees, and a 29-acre lake. Join leader Matt Igleski as you sit in the picnic area just off the north lot looking for migrant birds utilizing the various habits at this site. We will have coffee and snacks. Bringing a camping chair is recommended.
