Art credit: “weird ducks” by Rosemary Mosco

For a great look at Chicago’s wintering ducks, come visit with Chicago Bird Alliance at the Diversey Turning Basin! This is a great trip for anyone interested in a close look at the interesting ducks that spend the winter right in the heart of the city. Beginners are especially welcome!
We will travel a short distance on sidewalks and the paved river walk. Those with limited mobility are welcome. Dress for the weather - we will be standing outside.
Park on Leavitt south of Diversey and look for us across the street.
Open house format - come any time between 9 and 10am and stay as long as you’d like. A scope and binoculars will be available. If you don’t see us, take the river walk north under Diversey.
