Birders walk the edge of this 6.5-acre fenced sanctuary in Lincoln Park to see and hear the large variety of migrants that use this wooded oasis.
Black-crowned Night-Herons often roost here as well.
On the east side is a wheelchair-accessible viewing stand with benches.
Walk a short distance south to the jetty at the mouth of Belmont Harbor for close-up views of waterbirds such as Common Loon, Horned Grebe and Common Goldeneye.
