Hello everyone,
On August 1, six of us showed up at 8:00am even though it was pouring rain. Cheryl, Marian, Mike and I wimped out before we even crossed Cornell. As we got back to Stony Island, Madhu and Mark C. were just arriving. Mark C. was braver than the rest of us and went for a bit of a walk, although he reported later that he saw very few birds. Madhu didn’t get out of his car and seemed very happy to go back home. The remaining four of us came inside for coffee and were soaked after being outside for only 20 minutes. Eric bravely went out on his own and submitted the checklist below.
