Black Partridge Woods

A charming, under-birded site, designated an Illinois Nature Preserve in 1965 due to its unique flora and fauna, Black Partridge Woods offers a unique ravine landscape, and popular spring migratory stop off for warblers and other songbirds.

Directions: From I-355, take the I-55 exit toward St. Louis. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Joliet Road South and merge onto South Joliet Road. Turn left onto Bluff Road. The entrance to the preserve will be on the left.
